Roles

Every page lists the roles it serves in its front matter (roles: [...]). These are reader roles, not job titles: one person usually holds two or three. A clinical research coordinator follows crc and the REDCap pages tagged data-rc; data staff follow data-rc and pipeline; trainees follow analyst. Use the Map in Role view, or the Tags page, to see what each role needs to know.

analyst	Trainee / analyst (postdoc, PhD, master's, undergraduate)	Runs analyses: compute environments, software, de-identified data access, the analysis pipelines.
pi-manager	PI / lab manager	Approvals, onboarding and offboarding, IRB, reporting, budgets, storage and PHI rules.
collaborator	External collaborator	Site partners: data sharing, standards, intake, contacts.
